Joseph Campbell and The Power of Myth with Bill Moyers

I just purchased the series and was quite disappointed because of the resolution and quality.

Of course, I don't know what sources this copy was made from - I suspect it to be video tape - but being a video producer myself, I know that
1) a higher resolution transfer would have been possible
2) additional post production finessing would have helped a great deal in sharpening the really washed out details

Are there any better qualities available. If not: are there plans to create a better copy? I am sure, the TV archives hold a copy of this series as well, Maybe their quality is better ...

Or, to phrase it in the words of the eternal Joseph Campbell himself: Find your bliss!
Go, slay this dragon of abysmal quality and resolution and bring us true elixir so we may heal ourselves ...

I have added my complaint to yours Roman! It is really a shame that content of such a high level is beset with such poor quality reproduction, I cannot believe that the originals are of such poor resolution and quality! Even if they were some careful reworking to increase contrast and apparent resolution could work wonders. Here is to the true elixir being available soon!
